Step 1 – Rename and remove SI Excel add ins 

Rename the following 2 folders

Open Excel(Not via report manager) which will then prompt that the add- ins are missing

Check that the add in have been removed from the Excel add ins as well as COM add ins.

Step 2 – Uninstall and reinstall Excel 

NB!... Back up the registry prior to using the below or making any changes to the registry 

Nathan advised that Revo uninstaller is used, this will look the same as the normal program files uninstall of a program but has the option to do a “deep scan” and remove prior versions of office.

After the uninstall you will have to confirm that prior versions have been removed from the registry , if not then it has to be manually deleted.

And 

Reinstall the preferred Excel /office version 

Step 3 – Re add SI add-ins

You will not have to reinstall Sage intelligence but only open up Report manager. This will apparently pick up the missing add-ins and recreate in the common files directory. ( I can not login from my machine now so Report manager does not open to confirm)

Once this is done you will have to open Excel and re-add the add-ins based on your Excel version (32bit or 64 bit)
